Update: The truck is running great after installing the boost elbow and cutting the stock fuel plate to a # 100 plate. There is barely any turbo lag and the rebuilt tranny punches through the gears and keeps on pulling with the ATS converter! Next up is a 4K GSK.
I estimate I'm getting between 16-16.5 mpg in town at the moment (having a lot of fun putting my foot to the floor) and I'm certain I could get 18 mpg if I weren't so accelerator-happy! I don't know what my highway fuel economy would be as I have no need to do any highway travelling.
The Conversion page contains installation information (how it was done and photos). The Parts List page contains a list of parts used for the conversion along with information on where the parts were purchased and who did the labor. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
